Each model has four PoE gigabit interfaces, four USB 3.0 ports, with the monitor connections located on the front side and serial interfaces and audio connections on the narrow sides. The PC also have a MezIO slot with high-speed interfaces for application-orientated I/O functions. The range of expandable options means that incorporating made-to-measure embedded applications for space-critical applications is easy and affordable.

POC-500 controllers measure only 64 x 116 x 176 mm and come with either the AMD Ryzen V1605B processor (2.0/3.6 GHz, 12 to 25 W TDP) or the V1605B (3.35/3.8 GHz, 35 to 54 W TDP). Memory options range up to 16GByte with a DDR4-SDRAM module in the SODIMM socket.

The full-metal casing is optimised for efficient heat conduction using a resistant aluminium alloy, allowing operation between -25 and +70°C. It also enables the PCs to be situated on narrow and poorly ventilated channels, switch boxes or weather-protected housing.

Connectivity is provided through four USB 3.0 connections and several serial (RS-232/422/485) connection options. A VGA monitor output supports resolutions up to 1920 x 1200 pixels and the display port supports resolutions of up to 4096 x 2160 pixels.

In addition to the MezIO slot, a mini PCIe socket with a USIM slot is available on the PCB for mobile communications. An M.2 socket (PCIe Gen3 x2) allows the addition of a fast NVMe-SSD.
