Competition offers 100 AVR-IoT WG development boards as prizes has launched a competition that will give away 100 Microchip AVR-IoT WG development boards as prizes, as well as a chance of a place at the 2019 Microchip Masters conference in Berlin.

The AVR-IoT WG development board can connect with Google Cloud in 30 seconds and has a hardware-based CryptoAuthentication private key for secure data upload. It also features built-in light and temperature sensors and is set up to transfer data from the sensors to the cloud. Over 500 other sensors and actuators can be linked to the board through the mikroBUS connector.

To enter the competition, participants must register at and build their project using the Microchip AVR-IoT WG Development board. Two runners-up will win a Curiosity PIC32MZEF Development Board, SNAP Debugger, Arduino Uno WiFi, as well as connectors and shields.

The deadline for board applications is January 1st 2019 and projects must be uploaded by March 31st 2019.
